USAPAC is a new Australian market-entry and regional growth business helping U.S. companies test, enter, establish and grow in the Australian market.
With our U.S.–Australia operations expanding, we are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Executive Assistant – International Business Development & Market Entry to work directly with our Founder & Managing Director.
This is not a traditional PA role.
You will help drive the research, prospecting and coordination behind our international growth strategy, with exposure to U.S. companies, Australian Government procurement, Defence/AUKUS, business development and international market entry.
What you'll do
- Research U.S. companies with potential to enter or expand into Australia.
- Identify decision-makers and develop prospect lists.
- Research Australian market, Defence, government, tender and commercial opportunities.
- Manage our CRM, prospect pipeline and follow-ups.
- Assist with LinkedIn and email business-development outreach.
- Prepare company research and executive briefing notes before meetings.
- Assist with proposals, capability statements and market-entry assessments.
- Coordinate meetings across Australian and U.S. time zones.
- Draft professional correspondence and follow up prospective clients.
- Provide executive support directly to the Managing Director such as diary management and travel bookings etc.
- Help build the systems and processes behind a growing international business.
- Limited domestic and international travel may be requested.

You'll ideally be someone who:
- Is an excellent researcher and writer.
- Is highly organised and able to work independently.
- Communicates professionally with senior executives.
- Is confident using LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and online research tools.
- Has strong attention to detail.
- Is commercially minded and interested in business development.
- Wants responsibility rather than simply being given administrative tasks.
- Has an interest in international business, Defence, government or the U.S. market.
Experience in executive assistance, business development, research, professional services, government or Defence would be highly regarded. Where this role can lead

Location: Brisbane, QLD – hybrid/flexible arrangements available
Hours: Approximately 20–25 hours per week initially
Remuneration: $40–$50 per hour + super, depending on experience with opportunity to earn commission.
