An opportunity has become available for an experienced Executive Support Officer to join a highly regarded, purpose-driven organisation operating within a governance-focused environment. This is a quick-paced role supporting a senior executive and working closely with leadership stakeholders, committees and governance processes.
This position requires someone who enjoys being the organisational backbone of a busy executive office, bringing structure, professionalism and initiative while managing competing priorities and supporting key governance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support to a senior leader
- Manage complex calendars, meetings and scheduling commitments
- Coordinate executive inbox management and stakeholder communications
- Prepare briefing notes, reports, presentations and correspondence
- Support Board and Committee activities including agendas, papers, minutes and action tracking
- Organise travel arrangements, meeting logistics and events
- Maintain governance documentation and reporting packs
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support projects, workflow management and process improvements as required
About You You will be a proactive Executive Assistant or Executive Support professional who enjoys working closely with senior leaders and takes pride in creating efficiencies and keeping operations running smoothly.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives, Directors, CEOs or Executive Leaders
- Strong diary and inbox management skills
- Previous Board, Committee or governance support experience
- Excellent written communication and document preparation skills
- Experience preparing reports, presentations and briefing materials
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and stakeholder management skills
- A professional, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
