Café Manager – Café Chérie | Pinjarra WA

Full-Time Position | Immediate Start

Café Chérie is one of the Peel region's busiest and most established cafés, renowned for exceptional food, quality coffee and genuine customer service.

We're seeking an experienced, hands-on Café Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of our busy licensed café.

This is not an office-based management position. We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the floor, supporting their team during service and taking ownership of the venue's daily operations.

About the Role

As Café Manager, you will be responsible for:

- Leading, mentoring and developing a large hospitality team.
- Managing the daily operation of the café.
- Rostering and labour management.
- Stock ordering and inventory control.
- Maintaining food safety and liquor licensing compliance.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and professionally resolving customer concerns.
- Training and coaching team members to maintain company standards.
- Supporting the team during busy service periods, including preparing consistently high-quality coffee when required.
- Working closely with the business owners and Operations Manager to ensure the continued success of the venue.

You'll receive ongoing support from the owners and Operations Manager; however, we're looking for someone with the operational knowledge and leadership skills to confidently run the venue on a day-to-day basis. Essential Requirements To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 1 year's experience independently managing a busy café or restaurant.
- Strong barista experience, including the ability to confidently operate a commercial coffee machine during busy service.




- Current WA Approved Manager certification.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Current Food Handler Certificate.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A calm, professional approach in a fast-paced workplace.
- Availability to attend an in-person interview and paid trial shift in Pinjarra.
