POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a hands-on front-of-house role where you will operate across our Cellar Door, wine bar, and café to provide outstanding customer service and memorable dining experiences. You will be responsible for delivering qualified food and beverage service, presenting our boutique wines, and supporting daily front-of-house operations to meet high venue standards
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The main duties of the Experienced Waiter include:
Guest Relations & Front of House Operations
- Welcome and assist guests in a professional, warm, and friendly manner.
- Present wines, share basic product knowledge, and assist guests with menu selections.
- Support the coordination of front-of-house operations during peak service periods to maintain smooth workflow.
Food & Beverage Service
- Provide exceptional food and beverage service across the Cellar Door, wine bar, and café.
- Serve wine, beer, coffee,
and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly and in compliance with RSA guidelines.
- Perform table service, food running, table clearing, and venue reset duties efficiently.
POS, Compliance & Team Leadership
- Process customer payments and operate Point of Sale (POS) systems accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to RSA regulations, food safety protocols, and venue operating procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and venue presentation at all times.
- Assist in training, mentoring, and supporting new or junior hospitality team members.
- Work weekends, public holidays, and special events as required by business operational needs
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- At least 1 year of experience as a Waiter, Food & Beverage Attendant, or Cellar Door Attendant in the hospitality industry.
- Current WA Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate (or ability to obtain prior to commencement). Demonstrated experience using Point of Sale (POS) software/systems.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and flexible rostered shifts.
- Previous experience in wineries, high-standard restaurants, or busy cafés (Desirable).
- Wine knowledge or a genuine passion for regional wines (Desirable).
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff members (Desirable).

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
