This role is the epitome of the archetypal IT business consultant where you will apply your proven Microsoft Azure Fabric Data & Analytics development expertise within top ASX 500 style organisations. You will be working exclusively on high level projects within the Sydney market and will utilise the Microsoft Azure Fabric Services technologies, Synapse, OneLake, Data Factory and Power BI. You will become a key member of the team assisting with the growth of the Microsoft Practice.
The Skills Needed The ideal candidate for this true technical consulting role will have some or all of the following experience:
- Microsoft Fabric experience ideally Certified
- 2-3 Fabric projects under your belt
- Microsoft Platform knowledge of Azure Fabric, Azure Data Services, the Microsoft Data cloud stack and on prem Microsoft BI technologies
- Power BI experience
- Databricks and Azure Data Factory experience is a huge advantage
- Synapse Analytics experience is a huge advantage
- Data modelling experience
- DBT, Snowflake, AWS, GCP experience all valuable
- Ideally previous Skilled services experience with niche Data consultancies
- Previous on prem SSIS, SSAS (tabular and modular) and SSRS, Power BI experience
- High level client liaison skills
- Documentation (business focused, technology focused and project focused)
