Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Print Assistant Operator to join their production team on a casual full time hours basis.
The Role
Working alongside experienced Printing Operators, you will assist with the day-to-day operation of printing machinery, ensuring production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation and set-up of industrial printing machines
- Clean ink cylinders and printing components (manual handling up to 10kg)
- Prepare inks, materials and equipment for production runs
- Monitor print quality and identify any defects
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Support machine changeovers and general production duties
About You To be successful, you will have:
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
- A strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to safely perform repetitive manual handling tasks
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
- A reliable work ethic with excellent punctuality
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team
