Squad Employment, Training & HR is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven Field Officer to join our Sydney team.

As an Field Officer, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with host employers across a range of industries, identify new business opportunities, and support apprentices and trainees through regular mentoring, site visits, and performance discussions.

Key responsibilities

- Build and maintain strong host employer relationships across multiple industries
- Identify and secure new business and placement opportunities
- Promote Squad services and achieve placement and growth targets
- Conduct regular mentoring, performance reviews, and site visits
- Support apprentices and trainees throughout their employment and training journey
- Monitor wellbeing, workplace performance, and training progression




- Ensure compliance with employment, safety, and training requirements
- Provide high-quality service to hosts, apprentices, and stakeholders

About you

- Strong relationship-building and business development skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- Friendly, professional, and confident in networking environments
- Ability to mentor and support younger workers with patience and emotional intelligence
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Current Working with Children Check
- General Construction Induction (White Card) desirable
