About the Role:
We are seeking a Field Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work on a variety of automated car stacker systems, undertaking hands-on technical work including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical servicing across commercial and residential sites. Enjoy the right balance of autonomy and collaboration, with technical training and access to the tools you need to succeed in the role.
This is a mobile role which will require travel around Melbourne, with occasional visits to our Braeside head office when required.
What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on car stackers according to manufacturer specifications.
- Deliver prompt, skilled field service and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Diagnose and resolve system faults (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic).
- Liaise confidently with clients and provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate independently with responsibility for daily scheduling and task completion.
- Collaborate respectfully with fellow team members and share technical insights.
- Be available for occasional after-hours or on-call support when required.

You Should Apply If You Have:
- A Full Australian Driver’s License.
- A Restricted Electrical Licence at a minimum.
- Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong time management and ability to work autonomously.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Previous hands-on experience in a similar servicing role.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential):
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems in a similar field.
- An A Grade Electrical Licence is highly preferential.
- Qualifications in automation, mechanical or hydraulic systems will be highly regarded.
