Having invested heavily in strengthening its finance systems, controls and reporting capabilities, the organisation is now focused on building a best-in-class commercial finance function that can drive profitability, support strategic decision-making and unlock further value across the business.

The Role Initially offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract , this is not a traditional finance role for someone who enjoys producing reports and moving on to the next task.

Instead, we're seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who can tell the story behind the numbers. Someone who can connect the dots, uncover key business drivers and translate complex financial and operational data into insights that influence decisions and drive meaningful outcomes.

Partnering closely with senior leadership and operational stakeholders, you'll sit at the heart of the business, challenging assumptions, identifying opportunities and helping shape the future direction of the commercial finance function.

Key responsibilities include

- Partnering with operational and senior leadership teams to provide commercial insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Transforming financial and operational data into meaningful stories, insights and recommendations that improve business performance.
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, scenario modelling and performance analysis across the business.
- Analysing revenue, margins, costs and operational drivers to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and profitability improvement.
- Developing financial models, dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic planning and business initiatives.
- Working closely with manufacturing, supply chain, sales and finance stakeholders to drive accountability and deliver results.
- Evaluating business cases,



investment opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives that create measurable commercial value.
- Challenging stakeholders with data-driven insights and helping shape decisions that improve margin, productivity and long-term performance.

About You You are a commercially focused finance professional who is naturally curious and genuinely interested in understanding the drivers behind business performance.

You don't simply report numbers. You ask questions, challenge assumptions and use data to tell a compelling story that supports better decision-making.

To be successful, you'll bring:

- Experience in Finance Business Partnering, Commercial Finance, FP&A; or a similar analytical role.
- Strong financial modelling, budgeting and forecasting capability.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify what truly moves the needle.
- Confidence presenting insights and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the business.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to build credibility across both finance and operations.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and commercial outcomes.
- Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Distribution and FMCG experience will be viewed favourably, however it is not essential.
