As a Finance Officer, you will be part of a team of Finance Officers responsible for performing tasks associated with the financial operations of CentacareFNQ Early Learning and Care, including the day-to-day accounting function, financial transactions and processing and statutory compliance. You will have a productive working relationship with other CentacareFNQ Early Learning and Care service areas to achieve efficient, effective and accountable outcomes for the organisation. Your role Reporting to the Team Leader, Finance and General Manager of Business Services, your duties may include:

- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Banking and Receipting
- General ledger Maintenance
- Asset Accounting
- Financial/Management Reporting
- Managing Grant Funding
- Maintaining Statutory Compliance

Essential Qualifications/Requirements Desired Skills and Experience

- A minimum of a Cert III in accounting/bookkeeping and experience in Accounts Payable and Receivable, GST reporting, general ledgers and financial reporting.
- A valid driver's license
- A valid Positive Notice Blue Card and Yellow Card– No Card, No Start laws apply.
- Have and maintain a satisfactory National Police Certificate.
