: Wickhams Group are a dynamic and growing business in the Transport, agriculture, property and manufacturing sectors. With operations expanding and commitment to efficiency and service, we're looking for a dedicated Finance Officer to support our farms team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a desire to develop their accounting career.



You'll work across a range of accounting function and gain exposure to various aspects of the business.

This role is part time (25-30 hours) and based in Killarney QLD (20 mins travel time from Warwick).

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform a wide range of reconciliations including bank, credit card, hire purchase, payroll tax, wages, fuel, petty cash, Telstra, suspense, Q Accounts and general ledger.
- Manage daily receipting and Pronto debtor's follow-up to maintain accurate cash flow and AR positions
- Oversee credit card reconciliation and Concur reporting, ensuring timely employee expense processing
- Prepare and post relevant journals for payroll tax, accruals, employee entitlements, and HP finance
- Ensure accurate prepayments and account allocations, including utilities and operating costs
- Maintain and update cashflow forecasts to reflect actual movements and support financial planning
- Conduct three-way reconciliations across the plan register, fixed asset register and insurance register
- Support month-end and year-end close processes, including reporting
- Provide general support across finance functions and assist with ad hoc duties as required

- Tertiary Qualifications and a minimum of two years of accounting experience
- Computer skills with ability to operate all MS Office Application with intermediate to advance excel skills
- Must be able to communicate well with co-workers and customers
- Must be able to work under pressure and to a deadline in some situations
- Clear problem solver, proven ability to apply logic or reasoning to review information, identify problems, their causes, evaluate options and select the best solution
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, including high attention to detail
- Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, ect.)
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Pronto
- Willing to learn and take direction
