Role Description The Financial Analyst (Hybrid, Entry-Level) will support the club’s initiatives by assisting with financial analysis and reporting for internal projects and events. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing financial statements, preparing simple financial reports, supporting budgeting and financial planning activities, and conducting basic research on asset and wealth management topics.
The role also involves collaborating with other club members to analyze data, produce insights for decision-making, and help ensure responsible use of resources. This is a part-time position based in Sydney, NSW, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines in office activities with some work from home.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Finance and Financial Planning.
- Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret Financial Statements.
- Candidates should possess skills in preparing and understanding Financial Reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and basic proficiency with spreadsheets or financial tools.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a student-led team environment.
- Interest in asset and wealth management, and willingness to learn and take initiative in an entry-level role.
- Current enrollment in a relevant degree (e.g., business, finance, economics) is beneficial but not mandatory.
