Role Description This entry-level Financial Analyst role is a part-time, hybrid position based in Sydney, NSW, with a mix of on-site work and the option to work from home.
The Financial
Analyst will assist in reviewing and analyzing financial data, including budgets, financial statements, and reports, to support decision-making related to training and consulting activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing basic financial reports, helping with financial planning and forecasting, and monitoring key financial metrics for projects and operations. The role also involves supporting data collection, maintaining accurate financial records, and collaborating with team members to ensure that financial information is clear, timely, and reliable.
The successful candidate will work under guidance from senior staff and will have opportunities to learn about finance in the context of the pharmaceutical training and consulting sector.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
Knowledge of finance and basic financial planning concepts.
Ability to understand and work with financial statements and related documentation.
Familiarity with financial reporting, including preparation of simple reports and summaries.
Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (completed or in progress).
Proficiency with spreadsheet tools and basic financial software; solid numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Demonstrated interest in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector is an advantage, as is prior internship or project experience.
