Our client is a global electrical retailer with a network of over 900 stores in key international markets. The business has been on a significant growth trajectory over the past number of years and they are currently in the process of expanding operations in the Australian market.
As a result, a fantastic new opportunity has become available for a passionate and professional Financial Controller to join the business and lead the finance team of six.
The Financial Controller will manage and lead the finance team on a day-to-day basis and will be responsible for the entire financial accounting process, working closely with various stakeholders on all levels within the business and the finance team whilst being an ambassador with an open mind and a positive attitude.
Reporting to the Global UK based business, this role requires an individual who is technically astute, reliable, has a systematic approach,
robust leadership and people development skills as well as excellent communication skills.
The successful candidate will hold 7/8 years experience in a relevant senior finance role, and attention to detail, a valuable standard of IT literacy and a solid background with technical and analytical capability.
First rate communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills are highly desirable to thrive in this position.

- The role is based on the Central Coast and is office based, due to the requirement to lead and communicate successfully with your team on a day to day basis.
