Our client is a recognised leader in the Financial Lines and is seeking a Claims Advocate with diverse industry exposure to join their team. This is an important role within the organisation and requires a solicitor or claims professional with a depth of experience in PI, D&O;, ML and/or Liability.
Job Requirements:
- Manage a portfolio of financial lines claims for all sizes of loss and Clients including Associations, Corporates and Financial Institutions
- Maintain professional relationships with Insurers for the provision of claims services to clients
- Advocate for favourable claims settlements.
- Negotiating through the determination and/or settlement process on behalf of your clients
- Undertake all administrative and communicative duties associate with claims management
- Manage the expectations of valued stakeholders including Brokers, Claims Handlers, Insureds, Solicitors and Loss Adjusters.
- Manage internal relationships
- Make sound judgments and display confidence in your decisions and possess the ability to communicate these to stakeholders.
- Report to Management any problems with Insurers, Claims progress, or potential Professional Indemnity issues
