Bottrell Wealth Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our growing Financial Planning team.

With offices located in East Maitland and Newcastle East, we provide professional Financial Planning services to Business Owners, Professionals, Families and Retirees throughout the Hunter Region and across Australia.

Bottrell Wealth Pty Ltd forms part of Bottrell Business Consultants Pty Ltd, one of the Hunter Region's leading Professional Services firms, providing Accounting, Taxation, Business Advisory, Wealth Management and SMSF services.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing Financial Planning practice, working closely with Financial Advisers, Chartered Accountants, Tax Agents and Business Advisers in a collaborative environment.

Working alongside the Accounting and Business Advisory divisions of Bottrell Business Consultants Pty Ltd allows us to deliver integrated financial solutions for our clients.

About the Role

As a Paraplanner, you will play a key role within our Financial Planning division by supporting our Advisers in delivering high quality strategic financial advice.

You will work closely with our Financial Advisers and Administration team to prepare compliant advice documents and assist in delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Roles and Responsibilities





As a Paraplanner your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing high quality Statements of Advice (SOAs).

2. Preparing Records of Advice (ROAs).

3. Researching financial planning strategies and investment solutions.

4. Assisting Financial Advisers with retirement planning strategies.

5. Preparing modelling, projections and financial analysis.

6. Working closely with Financial Advisers, Accountants and Business Advisers.

7. Managing implementation documentation and client paperwork.

8. Liaising with product providers and external stakeholders.

9. Maintaining accurate client records within AdviserLogic or Xplan.

10. Ensuring advice complies with current legislation and regulatory requirements.

11. Assisting with ongoing client reviews and service requirements.

12. Building strong internal and external professional relationships.

13. Staying up to date with financial planning legislation and industry developments.

Qualifications and Experience

We are seeking an experienced professional who demonstrates:

- Minimum 3 years' Paraplanning experience within a Financial Planning practice.

- Experience preparing Statements of Advice and Records of Advice.

- Experience using AdviserLogic or Xplan.

- Strong understanding of Australian Financial Planning legislation.

- Excellent written communication skills.

- Strong analytical and research skills.

- High attention to detail.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills.

- Professional presentation and communication.





- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

Qualifications

Applicants should ideally have

- Degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Commerce or Business.

- RG146 compliant qualifications.

- FASEA compliant education (completed or in progress).
