Australian Red Cross is part of the world’s largest humanitarian movement. We support and empower people and communities in times of vulnerability. First aid training forms an integral part of this work, by providing people in the community with first aid skills which could save a life at any time.
About the role In this role, you will deliver and assess a range of accredited first aid courses, supporting diverse communities across urban, regional, and remote locations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging learning experiences that support positive outcomes for every participant. The role will also include supporting non-accredited training, kit and equipment management (including stock control and maintenance), and other operational duties as needed.
This role requires travel across various venues in the stated area; reliable transport is an essential requirement of the successful candidate.

Confident using digital systems to support training delivery Essential requirements TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent
Own reliable transport
Current Australian driver’s licence Current Working with Children Check Desirable Experience delivering to a diverse range of clients
Understanding of ASQA compliance requirements
Current first aid qualifications (e.g. HLTAID011 or higher)
Experience in wilderness, remote, or outdoor first aid settings
