Whitty Engineering is growing, and we’re looking for experienced Fitters & Machinists who want solid work, diverse projects, and a team that values craftsmanship. If you take pride in precision, enjoy problem‑solving, and want Monday–Friday stability with competitive wages and opportunities for weekend overtime, this is the role. What you’ll do
You’ll work across manual and CNC machining,
assembly and repair work. You’ll read and interpret drawings, machine components to spec, check quality, and support apprentices and trade assistants. You’ll work with a wide range of metals and be part of a team that genuinely cares about workmanship.
What you’ll bring
- Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
- 3–5+ years experience in machining/fitting
- Problem-solving ability
- Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
- A safety-first mindset
- A positive, practical, team-focused attitude
