Fitter Machinist

Your New Opportunity An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Fitter Machinist to join our growing Remanufacturing team based in Hazelmere. This is a permanent, full-time position offering hands-on work across our machine shop, workshop, and field service environments.

Working with premium OEM products and large diesel engine components, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality remanufactured equipment and ensuring industry-leading standards are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Leading Hand, your responsibilities will include:

- Completing work instructions in accordance with quality and safety standards
- Performing machining operations within the machine shop environment
- Supporting remanufacturing and reconditioning activities within the workshop
- Assisting with overhaul and repair of large diesel engine components
- Maintaining productivity and efficiency targets while delivering quality workmanship
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures
- Collaborating with team members to achieve workshop objectives and customer expectations

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification in Engineering (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Experience working within a remanufacturing, heavy industrial, mining, diesel engine, or similar environment
- Proven machining experience with strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of remanufacturing and reconditioning processes for large diesel engines and associated components




- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Highly regarded: Experience in fabrication and welding processes
- Highly regarded: Exposure to OEM equipment and heavy diesel engine component rebuilds
