Due to increase in operational demands and internal movements, we are currently looking for enthusiastic people for our Processing section within our fresh fish processing environment. The Processing role is responsible for the correct weighing, display and packaging of our seafood products.
This is a full time permanent role.
No previous seafood processing experience is necessary, we will train the right candidate! However, Oyster Shucking experience is highly desirable.
We desire candidates who are reliable, have their own transport and can work between the hours of 6am and 2pm Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
- De-scale, de-bone, skin, and clean and raw fish and prepare it for sale
- Processing seafood products
- Remove meat from various shellfish
- Portion and pack products according to size and weight requirements
- Use vac packing machinery
- Use metal detector machinery
- Inspect products for freshness and quality
- Operate and maintain work knife and other specific role equipment
- Assist with other tasks in the seafood department as needed
What we're looking for
- Understanding of computing systems and how to operate manufacturing machinery
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Be able to work under pressure and to a deadline
- Previous seafood or production experience - desirable (but not essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
