We have an exciting chance for a Foreman to join the team at Caulfield Racecourse on a full-time basis. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same. You'll work alongside a passionate crew to keep our racing and training tracks performing at their best, lead day-to-day operations, operate specialised machinery, and play an important part in delivering exceptional race days and training experiences.

In The Saddle

Maintaining racing and training tracks to meet Racing Victoria standards

Supporting turf management activities including mowing, irrigation, fertilising, aeration and general track repairs

Assist with race day preparations, including barrier placement, track crossings, and surface inspections

Provide hands-on support during trials, jump-outs, and daily training operations

Supervise staff and contractors,



ensuring safe and high-quality work while supporting the development of junior team members

Operating and maintaining a range of specialised turf machinery and equipment Your Track Record Qualifications in Turf Management, Horticulture, Agronomy, or a related field (desirable)

Strong knowledge of turf and track surface management

Experience working within a racing club or governing body (desirable)

Excellent communication skills A strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
