Customers are onboarding, revenue is growing, and we're now looking for a Founding Engineer to help shape the next stage of the company.

This isn't a maintenance role.

This isn't a role where you'll spend your days working through a backlog someone else created.

This is a seat at the table.

You'll have direct influence over architecture, product direction, engineering standards, AI strategy and how we scale the platform over the coming years.

What You'll Be Building

You'll work across the entire platform, including:

- Backend development using Node.js and TypeScript
- Modern Angular front-end development
- AWS infrastructure and cloud architecture
- AI-powered workflows and automation
- RAG, vector databases and LLM integrations
- Document generation and processing pipelines
- Performance, scalability and platform reliability
- Integrations with enterprise platforms and third-party systems
- Internal tooling to improve engineering velocity

You'll work directly alongside the founder and collaborate with our offshore engineering team to rapidly deliver improvements and new capabilities.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months, you'll:

- Become a key technical decision-maker within the business
- Improve platform performance,



reliability and scalability
- Help shape Tenderfy's AI roadmap
- Strengthen engineering processes and release velocity
- Contribute to building a world-class engineering culture
- Play a major role in scaling Tenderfy nationally and beyond

What We're Looking For We're less interested in years of experience and more interested in capability.

You'll likely have strong experience in:

- Node.js and modern TypeScript
- Angular or similar modern front-end frameworks
- AWS infrastructure and cloud-native development
- API design and integrations
- Software architecture and scalable systems
- AI tooling and up-to-date developer workflows

Bonus points if you've worked in a start-up, scale-up or high-growth environment.
