Drop Frame is a Melbourne based content production agency creating video and photography for consumer brands in the beauty, health, wellness and lifestyle space.
We're looking for a freelancer to help build out the social side of what we do, both for Drop Frame itself and for our clients.
The role covers two areas:
Internally, for Drop Frame:
- Ideating and editing scroll-stopping social reels and TikTok concepts
- Spotting which clips in a raw batch of footage have the strongest hook potential and building content ideas around them
- Ideating ad content/creative
- Occasionally jumping on set to grab BTS or social content while we're shooting
Client work:
- Ideating platform-native content ideas for client brands' IG and TikTok, tailored to what actually performs in their niche
What We're Looking For
- Robust grasp of what works on IG and TikTok for specific niches: you know the difference between what lands for beauty vs. healthcare vs. fashion, not just "social trends" in general
- Sharp instinct for turning raw footage into scroll-stopping content ideas: strong hooks and pacing that holds attention
- Comfortable ideating content ideas from existing footage
- Reliable, communicative, and happy working as a freelance or per project basis
- Bonus: any experience shooting BTS or social content on set
- Bonus: comfortable editing footage into short-form content yourself (hooks, pacing, fast cuts)
- Around 1-2 years' experience in social content creation (agency, brand, or freelance)
