Full Stack Engineer

Obsidian Collectables is a premium trading-card platform: storefront, mystery packs, and an escrow-protected marketplace. We’re a small operator-led team shipping a live product used by thousands of collectors.

The role

We’re hiring a senior full-stack engineer to help own the product as we scale. You’ll work across the existing platform and lead larger builds that involve messy real-world data, reliability, and user-facing product, not just ticket execution.

What you’ll do

- Ship end-to-end features in a live Next.js / TypeScript codebase
- Build and maintain data pipelines that ingest, clean, and store external and internal data on a schedule
- Design systems where correctness matters (payments, balances, inventory, auditability)
- Make product calls, not just implement specs
- Raise the engineering bar as the company grows

What we’re looking for

- Strong full-stack TypeScript: React, Next.js, Node, PostgreSQL




- Experience building ETL / ingestion systems for messy real-world data
- Comfort with time-series data, basic statistics, and turning noisy inputs into trustworthy product outputs
- Product ownership mindset; you’ve shipped without needing a perfect brief
- Experience near payments, ledgers, or other high-correctness systems

Nice to have

- Charting / data visualization
- Interest in collectables, trading, or markets
- Early-stage / startup engineering experience
- Prisma, Stripe, or NextAuth
