Function & Restaurant Supervisor The Feathers Hotel | Burnside

Join a South Australian hospitality favourite The Feathers Hotel has been part of the Adelaide community since 1966. Today, our venue combines its much-loved history with outstanding food, drinks and genuine hospitality across our Greenhouse Restaurant, Terrace & Garden Bars and Pavilion.

We’re looking for an experienced Function & Restaurant Supervisor to join our team and help lead our restaurant, bar and function operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two shifts are the same. You’ll work closely with the Functions & Restaurant Manager to deliver outstanding service, lead the FOH team and make sure our restaurant and functions run smoothly.

You’ll be involved in

- Leading and supporting the FOH team during busy services
- Overseeing restaurant, bar and function operations
- Coordinating functions, events and service requirements
- Using Function Tracker to manage bookings, event details and run sheets
- Conducting pre-service briefings and keeping the team organised
- Maintaining high standards of service, presentation and cleanliness
- Handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Working closely with the kitchen, bar, management and clients
- Supporting staff training, rostering and team development
- Assisting with stock, cash handling and end-of-shift procedures
- Ensuring RSA, WHS, hygiene and compliance standards are met





About You You’ll be a confident hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team and thrives in a busy environment.

Essential

- Minimum 12 months' experience in a similar hospitality supervisory role
- Previous experience using Function Tracker
- Strong restaurant, functions, events or hospitality experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to stay calm, organised and solutions-focused under pressure
- A genuine passion for customer service
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and functions
- Current RSA certification, where applicable
- Desirable: RP Badge and First Aid training.
