Gaming Technician – Lasseters Hotel Casino | Alice Springs, NT Employer: IRIS Capital – Lasseters Hotel Casino Position Type: Full-Time Location: Alice Springs, NT Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 per Annum (Depending on experience and skill set) The Electronic Gaming Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic gaming machines (EGMs) and associated systems to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and minimal downtime. This role plays a key part in maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting gaming operations, and delivering a seamless experience for guests. Flexible and reliable, with availability to work nights and weekends WHAT - Experience And Requirements You Have Previous experience as an Electronic Gaming Technician or in a related technical/electronics field

Trade qualification in electronics, electrical, or similar (desirable)

Ability to obtain a Restricted Electrical Licence





Understanding of gaming machine systems and casino operations (advantageous)

Ability to obtain and maintain an NT Casino Operative Licence (COL)

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills HOW – Key Responsibilities Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on electronic gaming machines (EGMs)

Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues

Assist with installation, upgrades, and gaming machine moves

Ensure compliance with NT gaming regulations and internal procedures

Monitor systems and respond quickly to faults to minimize downtime

Support Gaming Operations during peak periods and events

Maintain accurate service records and documentation
