Senior Garment Technologist — Lifestyle & Active Apparel

We're working with a fast-growing Australian lifestyle apparel brand that's built a responsible following in the active and lifestyle space. They move fast, they care deeply about quality, and they make product that people genuinely love wearing. This is a brand with real momentum — and they're looking for a Senior Garment Technologist to help them keep raising the bar.

This is a hands-on, ownership-heavy position sitting right at the intersection of design and production. You'll be the technical backbone of the garment development process - the person who takes a concept from the Design Team and makes sure it actually comes to life the way it was intended, at the quality standard the brand is known for.

You'll own the full development cycle. From building out tech packs to running fit sessions, managing manufacturer relationships, and signing off on final production - this is your process to run.

What you'll be doing

- Building and maintaining detailed tech packs that give manufacturers and suppliers everything they need to execute
- Running fit sessions with the Design Team to make sure every style hits design intent, consistent sizing, and quality workmanship
- Working directly with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure the right techniques and accessories are being used — and resolving issues when they're not




- Conducting thorough QC inspections on pre-production and production samples, flagging deviations and following through until they're resolved
- Staying across critical path deadlines and making the calls that keep deliveries on track
- Being the go-to technical resource for Design and Customer Care when fit or construction questions come up

Who you are

- You've got several years of garment technology experience in apparel and you know garment construction inside out. You're detail-obsessed, you don't let things slip through, and you're the kind of person who can walk into a fit session, identify the problem, and know exactly how to fix it.
- You're also a strong communicator — you can translate technical requirements across design, production, and commercial teams without anything getting lost. When things go sideways on the production floor (and they will), you stay calm, make positive decisions, and keep things moving.
- You're comfortable managing multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment, and you don't need someone to tell you what to do next — you already know.
