Gatepower are looking for a General Factory Hand - Experience is preferred though not essential. We fabricate custom gates, screens, fence panels, letterboxes, flashings and sheet/plate work etc.. We weld/fabricate mainly aluminium, also duragal/mild steel.

We are looking for someone to assist with our manufacturing. Our factory setup includes:

- multiple overhead 3 phase pulse welders
- 3kW fiber laser welder
- 6kW laser cutter with sheet and tube cutting
- CNC Router for custom aluminium machining
- 8.2x3.2x2.4 Powdercoating oven and booth
- CNC Folder
- JIB crane

Some of the duties will include:
- Assisting with sheet metal and welding fabrication
- CNC operation - router / laser / folder (training provided - Anyone with an interest in CNC machines encouraged to apply)
- Factory cleaning and maintenance of machines
- Powdercoating
- Loading/unloading of trailers and site delivery

Our hours are 6:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday, with every second Monday being an RDO. Wage is negotiable based on skills and experience. This will turn in to a Full time position for the right applicant. Pay: $30.00 – $37.50 per hour
