General Hand

We are currently seeking motivated and reliable general hand to join our team.

Reporting to the Yard Supervisor, you will play an important role in the safe and efficient operation of our recycling yard, assisting with scrap sorting/picking duties and fixed plant cleaning.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes and is eager to learn new skills. Full training will be provided for successful applicants.

What you'll be doing

- Operate equipment including a forklift
- Sort, grade, and identify various ferrous and non-ferrous metals.




- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company health, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
- Support general yard operations and other duties as required.

Who are we looking for:

- Forklift licence is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and separate different metal types (we can help you learn).
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to work safely in a physically demanding yard environment.
