Protech are currently seeking reliable General Labourers to assist our client on a local government housing project in Cairns.

This role will involve general site cleaning and assisting with the final stages of kitchen and cabinetry installations, including removing protective travel tape from kitchens and cupboards. Work will be on an as-needed basis over the coming weeks, with the potential for ongoing opportunities as workloads increase.

ABOUT THE ROLE

- Immediate Start
- Casual Position
- $38.00/hr + penalties
- Local Cairns Government Project
- 6:30am to 2:30pm
- On-and-off work as required
- Prospect for ongoing work for the right candidate

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- General site cleaning and housekeeping
- Removing protective/travel tape from newly installed kitchens and cupboards
- Assisting trades and site personnel as required
- Manual handling and general labouring duties
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Construction White Card
- Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Previous labouring, construction or site experience preferred




- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work safely within a team environment
- MR Licence desirable
- Traffic Control Ticket desirable
