GP Registrar – General Practice with a Skin Cancer Focus
Beach Road Surgery & Skin Clinic in Batemans Bay is seeking a motivated GP Registrar to join our supportive and well-established medical team. This position offers broad general practice experience together with valuable training in skin cancer detection and treatment.
The registrar will provide comprehensive, patient-centred general practice care, including:
- Acute and chronic disease management
- Preventive healthcare and health assessments
- Women’s, men’s and children’s health
- Mental health care
- Immunisations and minor procedures
- Coordination of referrals, investigations and follow-up care
The role also includes a strong skin cancer focus, involving:
- Comprehensive skin examinations and risk assessment
- Dermoscopy and identification of suspicious lesions
- Skin biopsies and interpretation of histopathology results
- Cryotherapy, excisions and other skin cancer treatments
- Treatment planning,
patient education and ongoing surveillance
Previous experience in skin cancer detection and treatment is highly desirable. Applicants should have valuable clinical judgment, communication and procedural skills, with a commitment to evidence-based, compassionate and patient-centred care. Additional skin cancer training and supervision will be provided by an experienced skin cancer GP. Current AHPRA registration and eligibility for an approved GP training pathway are required.
Pay: From $1,920.14 per week

Licence/Certification:
- Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine or equelent (Preferred)
