Location and Roster

- FIFO from Perth, Darwin, or Broome; or DIDO from Onslow, Exmouth, Karratha, or Dampier.
- Paulsens is located in the Ashburton Basin, Eastern Pilbara — 211 km inland from Onslow and 180 km west of Paraburdoo.
- Flights are to Onslow or Paraburdoo, followed by a two-hour bus to site.
- Roster: 8/6, day shift only

About the Opportunity Working in close collaboration with Geologists in the on-site core yard our Geology Technician’s key accountabilities include:

- Participating in pre-starts and handovers to arrange daily work activities and prioritisation.
- Processing of diamond drill core samples ensuring layout and orientation of core samples and meters are correct, marked up and cut, ready to go to the laboratory for analysis.
- Maintaining a high level of housekeeping, ensuring remaining core samples,



core pallets and chip trays are systematically stored and all data collected is recorded.

About You We are looking for a person with a positive and motivated ’can do’ attitudes, able to work collaboratively, and with a diverse range of people across all levels who understand we are all in this together. In addition, we require the following:

- Strong understanding and experience with processing of grade control diamond core.
- Experience with meter marking, orientation, cutting, and sampling.
- Competent with Integrated Tool Carrier operation highly regarded.
- High-risk forklift licence.
- C Class license (manual).
