Role Description The Graduate Structural Engineer role is a full-time position based in Tenneriffe, Brisbane QLD. The successful candidate will assist in structural design and analysis for a variety of building, defence and infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior engineers, with exposure ans invovlement in Facade Engineering and Consutling projects across our highly integrated team.
Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing calculations, developing CAD models and drawings, supporting documentation for design reviews, and contributing to BIM-integrated workflows.
The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, attending project meetings, and responding to client and internal stakeholder queries.
Our Graduate Structural Engineer will also participate in learning and development initiatives to build technical capability and professional skills.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Structural Engineering and Civil Engineering, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical design problems.
- Proficiency in Structural Analysis and related design methodologies for buildings and infrastructure.
- Ability to perform accurate engineering Calculations and prepare clear supporting documentation.
- Experience or training in CAD/Revit tools; exposure to BIM-integrated workflows is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies and methods.
- Interest in sustainable design, complex sructures, facades, and contributing to community-focused engineering outcomes.
