Graphic Design & Production Assistant – Sydney CBD

About Us We are a fast-paced, high-volume print signage and promotional products business located right in the heart of the Sydney CBD. From large-format window graphics and banners to custom promotional merchandise, we make brands look great.

The Role We are on the hunt for a versatile and highly motivated Graphic Design & Production Assistant to bridge the gap between the studio and the shop floor. This is a hands-on, hybrid role where you will be working with artwork files one minute and helping physically assemble or finish a signage project the next.

· A Fast Thinker: You can pivot quickly when urgent jobs drop in, troubleshoot artwork issues on the fly, and keep up with a fast-moving production schedule.

· Highly Practical: You understand that a great design doesn't just live on a screen—it has to be printed, cut, and assembled. You have a mechanical mind and a common-sense approach to making things work in the real world.

· Endlessly Enthusiastic: You bring great energy, a positive attitude, and a willingness to jump in wherever you are needed most.

What You'll Be Doing

· Pre-flighting and preparing client artwork for print (cut sheet digital production, large format and promotional items).

· Making quick layout adjustments and setting up cut-lines and bleed.

· Assisting the production team with printing, binding, weeding vinyl, trimming, mounting,



packing orders and booking couriers.

· Quality-checking finished products to ensure they meet our high standards before they leave the door.

· Helping maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

What You Need to Succeed

· Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat.

· Experience designing and adapting layouts in Canva.

· Competency using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

· A basic understanding of print production processes (experience in large-format printing or signage is a massive bonus, but we will train the right attitude!).

· Exceptional attention to detail.

· The physical capability to assist in a busy production environment (standing, lifting materials, and operating basic finishing equipment).
