Graphic Designer & Product Development

About the Role

As part of our Product Development team, you will:

Product Design & Development

- Design artwork for plush, novelty products, showbags, Blanket Buddies, Mini Packs, TEEG products and licensed/non-licensed ranges.

- Develop original product concepts, graphics and production-ready artwork.

- Develop showbag concepts from initial brief through to final product selection, ensuring commercially appealing and innovative product assortments.

- Prepare detailed showbag briefs, coordinating product selections as directed by the head of product development manager, branding, packaging requirements, licensing information, safety and supplier specifications.

- Coordinate the development of showbags throughout the product lifecycle, including sourcing, sampling, artwork, approvals and production readiness.

- Design Counter Display Units (CDUs) and other retail display solutions for our retail sales lines, ensuring they are visually engaging, functional and aligned with brand guidelines.

- Create packaging designs including hang tags, swing tags, CDUs, blind boxes and retail packaging.

- Prepare technical artwork and production files for manufacturing.

- Collaborate with local and overseas suppliers to refine designs and production samples.

- Review product samples and provide detailed artwork and product feedback to suppliers.

- Ensure products meet quality, functionality and commercial objectives.

Brand & Licensing

- Prepare artwork for licensor approvals.

- Ensure all products and artwork comply with brand guidelines, licensing requirements and style guides.

- Coordinate artwork revisions following licensor feedback.

- Maintain organised approval records, artwork revisions and final production files.

- Ensure consistency across all branded products and marketing materials.

Catalogue, Marketing & Digital Design

- Design and produce a wide range of printed and digital marketing materials including catalogues, sales sheets, brochures, flyers, point-of-sale displays, customer presentations and promotional collateral.

- Create engaging graphics and digital content for social media campaigns, websites, email marketing, online advertising and eCommerce platforms.

- Design website banners, landing page graphics,



product page imagery and other website assets.

- Produce product renders, mock-ups, lifestyle imagery and visual concepts for customer proposals and marketing campaigns.

- Design and maintain catalogues across plush, licensed novelty, distributor brands, fundraising and retail product ranges.

- Maintain accurate product master sheets and catalogue information.

- Produce artwork for trade shows, exhibitions, customer presentations and promotional events.

- Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop creative assets that support product launches, promotions and sales campaigns.

- Ensure all marketing materials remain consistent with company branding and licensing requirements.

Showbags

- Assist with artwork for upcoming showbag ranges.

- Prepare and manage showbag briefs for annual showbag submissions and new product ranges.

- Develop and present new showbag concepts, layouts and product combinations for internal review and customer presentations.

- Design hang tags, packaging and production-ready files.

- Support the design and approval process for licensed showbag programs.

- Create launch assets, promotional graphics and marketing materials for new showbag releases.

- Order showbags using our ordering process and procedures.

Supplier & Production Support

- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers regarding artwork, packaging and production files.

- Prepare final artwork for manufacturing.

- Check product codes, barcodes, sizing, carton quantities and packaging information before production.

- Assist in coordinating approvals prior to production commencement.

- Ensure production files are complete, accurate and ready for manufacture.

Quoting & Product Support

- Assist with preparing product quotations and specifications.

- Support the Sales and Product Development teams with product information, presentations and customer proposals.





- Work with suppliers to achieve pricing that meets commercial objectives.

Sample & Showroom Coordination

- Assist in maintaining plush and distributor showroom displays.

- Rotate showroom stock to ensure displays remain current.

- Process incoming product samples across plush, novelty and showbag categories.

- Photograph final production samples for catalogues, websites, social media and approval submissions.

- Coordinate contractual sample shipments where required.

- Assist with managing brand compliance for final production samples.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys both creativity and organisation, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.

Ideally you'll have

- A qualification in Graphic Design.

- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Canva.

- Experience designing for both print and digital media.

- Experience preparing print-ready artwork, packaging and production files.

- An understanding of social media content creation, website graphics and digital marketing assets.

- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

- Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Confidence communicating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

- An interest in product development, packaging and consumer products.

- Experience working with licensed brands will be highly regarded.
