ABOUT US
Andersen in Australia is a specialist tax and business advisory firm working with corporate and multinational groups, founders, family enterprises and private clients. We are part of Andersen Global, an association of independent member firms with more than 14,000 professionals across 170 countries.
We are a supportive, collegiate team, and that shapes everything about this role. You will work across the full breadth of what the firm does, with people who are generous with their time and quick to explain what they do and why it matters.
THE ROLE
This role is integral gto the brand and content function for Andersen in Australia. You will work alongside the Head of Marketing, Communications and Business Development, with a strong focus on how the firm looks and sounds everywhere it appears.
You will design the work and then produce it. That means artwork and layout, but also website and blog updates, campaign builds, video editing and running the channels. There is real substance and variety in this role from the start.
The way marketing works is changing quickly, and we see this role as a growth opportunity for someone who wants to build a career on strategy and execution together, not one without the other.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and brand: Social media artwork, marketing collateral, reports & event materials to name a few. You hold brand consistency across everything the firm publishes, working within Andersen Global's identity while making it work for the Australian market.
- Website and content publishing: Keeping au.andersen.com current is a standing part of this role. You will build and update pages in WordPress, publish blog and insight articles, apply SEO settings,
and produce and send campaigns in Mailchimp. You do not need to be a developer, but you do need to be comfortable working in a CMS, or genuinely keen to learn quickly.
- Video and podcast: Editing video and episodes of our podcast series. Video is evolving into a core part of this role, not an occasional extra.
- Social and reporting: Running Andersen in Australia's LinkedIn presence, planning and scheduling content, and reporting on what is working.
WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT
- A portfolio built on range. Robust design work at the core, with web, video and campaign experience built around it. You will finish a year here with more breadth than you came in with.
- Hands-on AI exposure, in a function that already uses it. We use AI for production workflows and reporting, and we are constantly looking at ways to improve how we adopt it. You will use these tools daily and help shape what we build next.
- Exposure across every channel the firm uses. Website, email, LinkedIn, YouTube, podcasts, print and events, plus the analytics behind all of it. You will see how a campaign moves from a page to a post to a send, and what each one contributes.
- A manager who explains the why. You will be taught the reasoning behind the work, not just handed briefs to execute.
- Direct access to decision makers.
You will work with our Chief Executive and technical directors regularly, and take work to them yourself. You are in the room when decisions are made.
- Hybrid working, Melbourne CBD office, and support for professional development.
ABOUT YOU
- Three to four years in graphic design, ideally in-house or in professional services, finance or another corporate setting
- Strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro
- Video editing you are confident in, with motion graphics an advantage
- WordPress experience, or clear evidence you pick up new platforms quickly and want to. Website and blog updates are a regular part of this role, so this cannot be an afterthought
- Email marketing platform experience, ideally Mailchimp
- A working understanding of corporate branding, typography and visual hierarchy
- Comfortable writing short copy for social and campaigns
- Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and reading performance data
- Self-directed, organised, and able to run several projects at once without close supervision
