Role Description This part-time remote Graphic Designer / UI Designer role focuses on creating visual and user-centered design assets that support Risk Culture Lab’s learning and facilitation programs. Day-to-day work includes designing graphics, layouts, and visual frameworks for digital and presentation materials; developing user interface elements that make complex risk concepts accessible and engaging; and collaborating with content and facilitation teams to translate ideas into clear visual narratives. The designer will refine and maintain visual guidelines, prepare assets for digital delivery, and iterate designs based on feedback to ensure usability and aesthetic consistency.
The role involves working independently, managing multiple design tasks, and delivering high-quality work on agreed timelines in a remote environment.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Visual Design and Graphic Design, with the ability to produce clear, engaging, and consistent visuals.
Experience working with Graphics for digital materials, presentations, and learning content.
Skills in User Experience (UX) and User Experience Design (UED), with a focus on usability, clarity, and user-centered interfaces.
Proficiency in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Adobe Creative Suite) and basic prototyping workflows.
Ability to interpret complex concepts and translate them into simple, intuitive visual solutions.
Solid communication skills and comfort collaborating remotely with multidisciplinary teams.
Attention to detail, willingness to iterate based on feedback, and ability to manage part-time workload effectively.
Relevant education or equivalent experience in graphic design, interaction design, visual communication, or a related field.
