Responsibilities Creation & manipulation of digital files in compliance with technical specifications for various print technologies, e.g. separations & trapping Preparation for print production, including pre-flighting, proofing & soft proofing. Generation of artwork using Adobe Suite & Esko (AE) platforms Esko Automation Engine – specialising in building workflows specifically for self-adhesive labels Using computer applications to generate images, text, layouts and impositions for print and other visual media displays. Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand (colours and graphics).

Trap files to meet the required specifications. Sound understanding of screen angles and line rulings. Retouch images for flexographic reproduction with a sound understanding of minimum dot, dot gain and colour specifications.

Operating computer screen-based equipment for scanning, colour separation, colour correction, masking, creative design, combining, imposing, retouching,



and other processes used to transfer copy to film and produce film for plate, digital output and cylinder productions. Adhering to client branding guidelines or following a client brief Execute & manage workload in accordance with production schedule. Perform QA procedures for digital files & plates.

Reproduction of images to printing plates and presses. Monitoring of consumables for ordering purposes Develop an understanding of continual improvement principles. Collaborate and liaise with other departments as required Troubleshoot operating errors to determine the cause & take action to remedy issues.

Perform & document preventative maintenance of machinery. Other duties as required (i.e. Flexo plate and screen making) Qualifications &

Requirements AQF Cert III with at least 2 years relevant experience, or AQF Cert IV, OR at least three years of relevant work experience Intermediate proficiency in Illustrator & Photoshop (advanced skills preferred) Apple iMac experience (intermediate or higher skill level) Minimum of 2 years relevant experience Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Suite e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook About Company Established in 1903, MCC has grown to become the world's largest leading and most award-winning label print manufacturer.
