Mad Over Italian is looking for an experienced and dependable Executive Chef to oversee the kitchen operations of our two busy Gold Coast restaurants.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can maintain excellent food quality, lead and develop kitchen teams, control costs, and create consistency across both venues.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee kitchen operations across both restaurants
- Maintain food quality, presentation and consistency
- Lead, train and support other chefs and kitchen teams
- Manage food costs, stock control, ordering and wastage
- Assist with menu development and seasonal specials
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards
- Support recruitment, rostering and kitchen performance
- Work closely with the owners and venue management team

What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef, Group Chef or experienced Head Chef
- Strong leadership and communication skills




- Excellent food-cost and kitchen-management knowledge
- Ability to build a positive, professional and accountable kitchen culture
- Experience with Italian cuisine is highly desirable
- Multi-venue experience is an advantage
- Reliable, organised and comfortable working in a busy restaurant workplace
