Racquet Club Australia

About Us Racquet Club is Australia's fastest-growing racquet sports group, bringing padel, pickleball and a genuine sense of community to every venue we open. We're growing fast, but we haven't lost the energy of a startup — expect a fun, vibrant team culture, real ownership over your work, and perks that match the pace we're moving at.. Join us as we build the future of racquet sports in Australia.

Strategy & Campaign Planning Own integrated marketing strategy and campaign delivery across brand awareness, memberships, events, programs, partnerships and club launches — translating business objectives into plans, timelines and measurable outcomes.

Team & Supplier Leadership Reporting to the exec team the role is expected to grow into people leadership as the business scales (e.g. a future designer or marketing support hire). In the meantime, lead freelancers, creators, agencies and suppliers — briefing, setting priorities, reviewing work and managing timelines, budgets and quality — escalating material budget, brand, reputational or commercial decisions to the Country Manager.

Brand Management Own brand consistency across all customer-facing channels per the Racquet Club Brand Guidelines, and lead its ongoing development and positioning across markets and audiences.

Marketing Calendar Own and coordinate the annual marketing calendar — national campaigns, social schedules, club activations, events and partnerships — aligning timelines and readiness with club and operations teams.

Performance & Reporting Own marketing KPIs (membership growth,

conversion rates, digital/social growth, cost efficiency). Prepare fortnightly and campaign reports covering social/digital performance, WhatsApp and community growth, registrations, membership/event/program results, content performance, budget tracking, and recommendations.

Budget Ownership Own the marketing budget — planning, tracking and approving spend within an agreed authority threshold (e.g. up to $[X] per item, above which escalates to the Country Manager). Assess supplier/agency proposals and recommend efficiency improvements.

Club Launches & Growth Own go-to-market planning for recent club openings, membership launches and market-entry campaigns, coordinating awareness, lead-gen, community-building and conversion activity across all channels.

Content & Social Media Plan and produce weekly content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and other channels — concepts, briefs, shot lists, schedules — creating content directly or coordinating creators as needed. Own paid social/digital campaigns (audiences, budgets, creative, performance) and oversee timely, brand-aligned community engagement.

Digital Channels & CRM Maintain WhatsApp communities and other digital channels, coordinating approved updates with venue/operations teams (who remain responsible for validating operational information). Coordinate website and CRM content/maintenance, manage newsletters and campaign emails, and own database integrity and segmentation.

Partnerships, PR & Events Own brand partner and sponsor relationships, activation concepts and deliverables. Coordinate media, influencer and creator opportunities. Lead marketing coordination for assigned events, launches and activations — positioning, invitations, RSVP journeys, promotional collateral, on-site brand requirements, content capture, post-event reporting — keeping marketing responsibilities distinct from event operations.

Asset Production Coordinate physical and digital marketing collateral (graphics, signage, event materials, presentations, recap videos), ensuring brand compliance and on-time delivery.

Compliance & Reputation Moderate digital community channels to maintain a positive, brand-aligned environment; escalate sensitive customer, legal, reputational or operational issues; ensure compliance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Decision-Making & Autonomy Full autonomy over day-to-day strategy, campaigns, content, community management, budget (within threshold) and supplier/team management. Escalate major expenditure, contractual commitments, sensitive partnerships, reputational risk, or material brand/strategy changes to the Country Manager.
