SMS Mining Services is looking for experienced HD Mechanics to join our Kalgoorlie Workshop on a residential 7:7 roster, working day shift only. In this role, you’ll work from our Kalgoorlie workshop completing maintenance, fault-finding, repairs, component change-outs and major rebuilds across a range of heavy mobile mining equipment. You’ll be supported by an experienced crew with a strong focus on safe, reliable and quality workmanship.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a FIFO role. This position is based in Kalgoorlie on a residential roster.

What We're Looking For
- Australian-Recognised - HD Mechanic trade certificate (or equivalent)
- Unrestricted Australian Work Rights
- Experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment (CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi)
- Ability to read and understand schematics
- Strong fault-finding & diagnostic ability
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (desirable)
