OZ NAPOLI ITALIAN RESTAURANT, is an established restaurant located in Ettalong Beach, NSW, offering a unique flavour of Italian cuisine. As part of our commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences, we are seeking qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team on a full time basis.
These roles are critical to supporting our kitchen operations, maintaining food quality standards, and contributing to menu development and customer satisfaction.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning and developing menus aligned with Italian cuisine
- Preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes with consistency and creativity
- Supervising kitchen staff including cooks and kitchen hands to ensure efficient operations
- Managing food preparation processes, portion control, and presentation standards
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels,
ordering supplies, and controlling kitchen costs
- Ensuring strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and WHS regulations
- Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
Qualification and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management
- At least around 2 years of experience as an independent Chef
- Strong leadership, organisational, and time management skills

Pay: $79,000.00 – $82,000.00 per year
