Overview:

As Claims Performance Lead, you will drive performance and operational excellence across our national claims function. Partnering with the General Manager Claims and Claims Leadership Team, you will lead strategic initiatives across productivity, quality, workforce optimisation, governance and continuous improvement to enhance customer and business outcomes.

Reporting to the General Manager Claims, you will be responsible for:

- Leading the national claims performance framework, driving operational excellence across productivity, quality, customer outcomes and financial performance.
- Providing strategic oversight of workforce planning, capacity optimisation, governance, quality and operational risk across the national claims function.
- Partnering with the Claims Leadership Team to develop and execute operational strategy, supporting sustainable growth and scalability.
- Driving claims excellence through data-driven decision-making, performance accountability, leakage management and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Influencing and collaborating with senior leaders to strengthen governance, operational effectiveness and customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience:





- Significant senior leadership experience within insurance claims operations.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in insurance claims operations.
- Proven success leading performance, optimisation or operational excellence functions.
- Demonstrated experience leading operational performance, workforce strategy or claims excellence initiatives.
- Strong workforce planning and operational governance experience.
- Strong understanding of claims governance, operational risk management and regulatory obligations.
- Advanced analytical, commercial and strategic capability.
- Proven ability to influence and partner with senior operational leaders and executives.
- Experience leading large-scale operational improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
