What You’ll Do Join eComX, the largest food retail eCommerce business in Australia, which is currently growing at an incredible ~15% each year and forecast to reach $10b+ of sales in the near term. This newly created Head of Finance – eComX Fulfilment Capability & Innovation leadership role reports to the GM Finance - eComX and partners directly with the Director of Fulfilment Capability & Innovation (FCI). This is an exciting, commercially focused, business partnering and leadership role with a rare combination of focus on short term trading performance alongside shaping the strategic direction of the eComX business, supporting high-profile decisions involving $1B+ investments in property networks (CFCs/eStores) and last-mile operations.
In This
Role, You Will Be Responsible For Team Leadership: Directly lead and empower the FCI Finance team, fostering a diverse and inclusive culture,
also with openness, innovation, and high performance.
Strategic Partnership: Act as a critical advisor to the Director – FCI and their leadership team, guiding both operational and strategic decision-making.
Strategic Growth & Evaluation: Provide thought leadership to evolve the eComX strategy, offering an end-to-end finance lens on key initiatives and major investment performance.
Commercial Delivery: Galvanise the team to ensure the commercial delivery of financial targets for eComX Last Mile
Commercial partnerships: Lead financial evaluations for major contract negotiations, ensuring strong communication, governance and review. Applications close Monday 17th of August 2026. What You’ll Bring We are seeking a CA/CPA qualified leader with 10+ years of post-qualification experience in large, complex, and fast-moving corporate environments.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business partnering, team leadership, and coaching, with a strong ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple, impactful stories for diverse audiences. You should be a logical, analytical problem-solver with advanced proficiency in financial modelling and technical tools such as SAP, GCP, SAP BW, and Google Sheets, all while maintaining a proactive drive for continuous improvement.
