Position Available

Queenwood is seeking an inspiring and experienced educator to lead our high-performing Languages Department from Term 1, 2027.

The Head of Languages will provide academic leadership across Years 7–12, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, excellence and engagement while working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver outstanding learning experiences. The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, support and mentor staff, and contribute to the broader academic and co-curricular life of the School.

The Languages Department offers French, Mandarin and Latin in Years 7–10, HSC and IB courses in French, Mandarin and Latin, as well as IB Spanish.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and accomplished Languages educator. The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner with excellent curriculum knowledge, a commitment to student achievement, and the ability to inspire students to develop a lifelong appreciation of languages and cultures.
