An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head of People & Culture to join the Executive Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy, leadership capability and culture of the organisation.

This appointment is being managed on a strictly confidential basis.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Founder & CEO and sitting on the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the entire People & Culture function across a national workforce.

This is a standalone leadership position offering full ownership of the employee lifecycle and the opportunity to influence business strategy at the highest level. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, balancing strategic people initiatives with hands-on operational delivery in a dynamic and high-performing environment.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives
- Managing onboarding, engagement and employee lifecycle processes
- Driving performance management and accountability frameworks
- Providing expert employee relations and workplace investigation support
- Ensuring employment law, industrial relations and HR compliance obligations are met
- Developing learning, leadership and talent development programs
- Enhancing employee engagement,



wellbeing and organisational culture
- Coaching leaders and supporting effective people management practices
- Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and governance
- Supporting HR systems optimisation and continuous improvement
- Aligning people strategies with organisational growth objectives and business performance

Based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, this is an onsite leadership role with flexibility to consider either a full-time or four-day-per-week arrangement for the right candidate. What You'll Bring To be successful in this position, you will be a commercially minded People & Culture leader who enjoys operating autonomously and influencing at executive level.

You will bring

- Proven experience leading the full People & Culture function within a standalone or highly autonomous environment
- Experience partnering with founders, executive teams and senior stakeholders
- A track record of success within high-performance, sales-driven or commercially focused businesses
- Strong expertise across employee relations, investigations, performance management and employment legislation
- The ability to balance employee advocacy with business outcomes
- Experience supporting organisational growth, transformation and capability uplift initiatives
- Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills
- High levels of resilience,



discretion and emotional intelligence
- A pragmatic, hands-on approach coupled with strategic thinking and business acumen

Candidates with experience within founder-led, privately owned or family-run organisations will be highly regarded.
