We have an exciting opportunity based in Sydney for a passionate Health and Safety Consultant who thrives on autonomy, continuous learning, and making a genuine impact. This role has been created in response to growing demand for support from our industry partners across Australia.

The position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of well-known clients. Ideally, we are looking for someone with previous Health & Safety consulting experience who is confident consulting with a range of clients across different industries. You'll be comfortable managing your own portfolio, building strong client relationships, and providing practical, risk-based health and safety advice tailored to each organisation's needs.

What you'll do

- Foster trusted client partnerships, delivering expert EHS advice that empowers organisations to meet and demonstrate compliance with health, safety, and hazardous substances regulations
- Lead the design, implementation,



and auditing of Health and Safety Management Systems (H&SMS;)
- Perform conformity and risk assessments while developing practical H&S; strategies that improve client performance
- Drive seamless project delivery; on scope, on budget, on time to elevate capability, quality, and consistency.

What you'll bring:

- A bachelor’s degree in health and safety or equivalent (NEBOSH).
- A detailed knowledge of ergonomics, or a certificate or diploma in Health Science (Human factors and ergonomics) or equivalent.
- Ideally some experience in the application and auditing of ISO management system and risk management standards (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 or ISO 31000:2018).
- Ideally, 5 years' experience working in a client-facing consulting environment, providing Environmental, Health and Safety advice along with guidance to clients on conformity assessments and auditing.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation related to H&S;, with experience in interpreting and applying legislation.
- Previous experience working in a client-facing consulting environment, providing Environmental, Health and Safety advice along with guidance to clients.
- Experience in risk assessment and risk management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively, as well as with minimal direction.
