About the role
We are seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join a major commercial construction project in Mandurah. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a landmark new-build development, working alongside a high-performing project team to drive a strong safety culture from site establishment through to completion.
Duties and responsibilities
- Monitor and promote compliance with site health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify hazards, risks and corrective actions.
- Lead incident reporting, investigations and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
- Support supervisors and subcontractors in implementing safe work practices.
- Deliver site inductions,
toolbox talks and ongoing safety awareness training.
- Review SWMS, JHAs and permit systems to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Maintain accurate HSE records and contribute to project safety performance reporting.
Skills and experience required
- HSE Advisor experience on major commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and safety compliance.
- Experience conducting site inspections and safety audits.
- Proven incident investigation and reporting skills.
- Ability to review SWMS, risk assessments and permits.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
