We are currently seeking experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team at the Baralaba Mine, located 150km west of Rockhampton. We’re looking for committed, reliable and focused people with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and safety-first approach who demonstrate Golding’s culture of care, dignity and respect for their colleagues, equipment and the environment. Key Role Tasks

- Trouble shooting and diagnosis of equipment faults
- Disassembly and assembly of machinery and components
- Routine servicing of all equipment both site workshop and field based
- Complete all maintenance administration requirements in a timely and legible manner




- Actively participate in toolbox and safety meetings
- Participate in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Work Method Statement Reviews

Role Requirements

- Trade Qualifications (Australian Recognised)
- Current Drivers Licence
- Current Standard 11
- Ability to pass Coal Board Medical, Functional Capacity Assessment and Drug & Alcohol screen
- Experience with Komatsu Excavators, Dozers and Electric Dump Trucks highly regarded
- Demonstrated ability in applying the site safety systems requirements
- Demonstrated safe, professional and productive behaviour
- Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry will be highly regarded
- Liebherr excavator experience highly regarded
