Where you'll be working
Hospital in the Home, primarily based at RNSH
What you'll be doing
As a HITH Nurse, you will provide high‑quality,
patient‑centred care to patients with acute conditions within their own homes or HITH clinic. You will utilise advanced clinical assessment, decision‑making and prioritisation skills to manage patients autonomously in the community. While maintaining strong links with HITH medical officers and the multidisciplinary team.
This role is suited to experienced nurses who are confident practicing independently, committed to clinical excellence, and motivated to contribute to an cutting-edge HITH model of care.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Registered Nurse –Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant nursing experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and a diverse range of health and non-health care providers.
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, with an emphasis on service delivery, patient safety, quality of care and team cohesion.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
